After electing their Congress, voters will go to the polls to elect the president (in the event that no candidate has reached 50% of the votes in the first round). Voting will take place on June 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th.
The second round of Peru’s presidential elections will be held on June 7th. More than 27 million voters are eligible to participate in the elections to choose the next president. Transparencia Electoral will hold an Electoral Observation Mission that includes an academic conference, meetings with political parties and electoral authorities, and visits to polling stations.
