Electoral observation has become a fundamental pillar to guarantee the integrity of the elections. Although the first experiences go back as far as the beginning of the mid-19th century, they have really been professionalized since the 1990s. According to the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation <\/b>(2005), this work is about \u201cthe systematic, complete and accurate collection of information about the laws, processes and institutions related to the administration of elections and other relevant factors to the general electoral context; the impartial and professional analysis of said information, and the drawing of conclusions about the nature of the electoral processes based on the highest criteria in terms of information accuracy\u00a0and analysis impartiality.\u201d Throughout its history, Transparencia Electoral has been applying a methodology for election observation based on the most up-to-date international criteria in order to offer a broad and comprehensive perspective of the electoral processes in the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
