Transparencia Electoral<\/strong> presenta su nuevo informe titulado \u201cNada que elegir: Elecciones Municipales de Venezuela 2025\u201d<\/em>, donde se analiza el proceso convocado para el 27 de julio en un contexto profundamente autoritario, marcado por la ausencia de garant\u00edas democr\u00e1ticas, la represi\u00f3n sistem\u00e1tica y la falta de transparencia institucional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El documento se\u00f1ala que la elecci\u00f3n de 335 alcaldes y 2.471 concejales<\/strong> ocurre en un entorno de opacidad, represi\u00f3n y manipulaci\u00f3n institucional<\/strong>, lo que convierte el proceso en una simulaci\u00f3n de competencia sin consecuencias reales. El informe destaca que, tras el fraude en las elecciones presidenciales del 2024 y los comicios regionales y legislativos de mayo de 2025, el Consejo Nacional Electoral no ha publicado a\u00fan los resultados verificables ni ha habilitado auditor\u00edas t\u00e9cnicas<\/strong>, violando normas b\u00e1sicas de transparencia electoral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, se denuncia la exclusi\u00f3n de la oposici\u00f3n leg\u00edtima, la inhabilitaci\u00f3n de candidaturas<\/strong>, la cooptaci\u00f3n de partidos, y la imposici\u00f3n de \u201cobservadores\u201d internacionales afines al oficialismo que intentan legitimar un proceso fraudulento<\/strong>. Las restricciones tambi\u00e9n alcanzan a la sociedad civil, con m\u00e1s de 70 detenciones arbitrarias recientes, incluidos defensores de derechos humanos, periodistas y l\u00edderes opositores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa celebraci\u00f3n de estos comicios ocurre en un entorno marcado por graves restricciones institucionales, falta de garant\u00edas democr\u00e1ticas, una marcada opacidad y un historial reciente de irregularidades electorales graves\u201d, se afirma en el informe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transparencia Electoral llama a la comunidad internacional<\/strong> a rechazar estos comicios como v\u00e1lidos, a exigir la liberaci\u00f3n de presos pol\u00edticos<\/strong>, y a presionar por la rehabilitaci\u00f3n de todos los actores pol\u00edticos leg\u00edtimos<\/strong>, junto con la implementaci\u00f3n de observaci\u00f3n electoral independiente y profesional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
